ATHENA CRUISE – 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT ITINERARY

DAY 1: HALONG INTERNATIONAL HARBOUR – SUNG SOT CAVE – TITOV ISLAND

12:00 – Check-in
Warm welcome by the Athena team at Halong International Harbour. Complete luggage check-in procedures at the waiting lounge before boarding the cruise.

12:30 – Onboard
Transfer by tender to Athena Cruise. The Cruise Manager and crew will welcome you on board, followed by a safety briefing and itinerary introduction while you enjoy our signature welcome drink.

12:45 – “Happy Lunch”
Lunch is served in our cozy restaurant. As the cruise departs toward Ha Long Bay – a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, relax and take in the gorgeous scenery and iconic limestone formations.

14:45 – Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave
The cruise stops near Bo Nau (Pelican) Cave, in the core area of the heritage site. Transfer by tender to visit Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave – the largest and one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay.

15:45 – Titov Island
Continue by tender to Titov Island, named by President Ho Chi Minh after Soviet cosmonaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov, who visited in 1962.
You can:

• Swim and relax on the beach, or

• Climb the steps to the top of the island for a breathtaking panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.

17:00 – Relax on Board
Return to Athena Cruise after a series of activities. Free time to relax while the cruise moves to its overnight anchoring point (Titop587 area).

18:00 – 19:00 – Happy Hour
Enjoy our Happy Hour – “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” on selected drinks while the sun sets and the bay turns into a stunning twilight scene.

18:30 – Cooking Class
Join a cooking demonstration of traditional Vietnamese dishes led by the Athena Head Chef.

19:00 – Dinner
A delicious fusion set menu is served at the restaurant – the perfect way to warm up after an active day.

From 20:30 – Cheerful Evening
Free time for evening activities:

• Film entertainment or mini-games in the restaurant

• Squid fishing

• Massage (surcharge)
  The Cruise Manager will be available to assist you.

DAY 2: LUON CAVE – HALONG INTERNATIONAL HARBOUR

06:30 – Tai Chi Class
Greet the new day in the bay with a 30-minute Tai Chi session on the sundeck while the cruise heads toward Luon Cave.

07:00 – Light Breakfast
A light breakfast is served in the restaurant.

07:30 – Luon Cave
Visit Luon Cave, known for its beautiful endemic vegetation and unique karst formations. You can choose one of two ways to explore:

• Kayaking (free of charge), or

• Traditional bamboo boat rowed by a local boatman (public ticket: 50,000 VND/person).

09:00 – Check-out
Return to Athena Cruise, relax and pack your luggage. Please leave your suitcase outside the cabin door – the Athena team will collect and have it ready on the pier.

09:30 – Brunch
Enjoy a brunch buffet at the restaurant after check-out while the cruise heads back to the harbour.

10:45 – Goodbye
Transfer by tender back to Halong International Harbour and disembark.
Farewell from the Athena team.

• Itinerary & activities:

A light breakfast is served in the restaurant.

08:30 – TRANSFER TO DAY BOAT
Transfer to a day boat to discover a rustic floating village and another impressive cave in Ha Long Bay.

10:00 – TUNG SAU FLOATING AREA & KAYAKING
Arrive in the Tung Sau area, known for its local fishing life. Explore the surroundings by kayak, enjoying calm waters and dramatic limestone formations.

12:00 – LUNCH ON DAY BOAT
After your kayaking adventure, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch served onboard.

13:30 – ME CUNG (MAZE) CAVE
After a short rest, continue the journey to Me Cung (Maze) Cave, one of the more fascinating caves in Ha Long Bay with its multi-level structure and impressive rock formations.

15:00 – RELAX ON MAIN CRUISE
Return to the main Athena Cruise. This is the perfect time to do exactly what you like:

• Relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi

• Sunbathe on the sundeck

• Enjoy a spa treatment (surcharge)

• Or simply read a book and take in the view.

DAY 3: LUON CAVE – HALONG INTERNATIONAL HARBOUR

Start your final day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck while cruising toward Luon Cave.

07:00 – BREAKFAST
A light breakfast is served in the restaurant.

07:30 – LUON CAVE
Visit Luon Cave, known for its beautiful endemic vegetation and tranquil lagoon.
You can choose one of two ways to explore:

• Kayaking (free of charge), or

• Traditional woven bamboo boat rowed by a local boatman (public ticket: 50,000 VND/person)

09:00 – CHECK-OUT
Return to Athena Cruise, relax and pack your luggage. Please leave your suitcase outside your cabin – the Athena team will collect it and have it ready on the pier.

09:30 – BRUNCH
Enjoy a brunch buffet in the restaurant after check-out while the cruise makes its way back to the harbour.

10:45 – GOODBYE
Transfer by tender back to Halong International Harbour and disembark.
