Tirant Hotel has been welcoming guests since early 2011, gracefully positioned on Gia Ngư Street—literally “Fish Village”—a place once shaped by generations of fishermen and their daily lives. In the 19th century, a central pond was filled to form the road we see today, marking the transformation of this historic neighborhood. During the French colonial era, the street briefly bore the name Tirant (pronounced “Tai-rang”), inspired by a French general. Drawing from this unique heritage, we chose the name Tirant Hotel—a name that is not only distinctive and memorable, but also deeply connected to the layered history of Hanoi.
